Mrs. Morris;
My
name is J.T. Eberhard. I am a student at Missouri State University and
I have been a big fan of yours for some time. I am sure you are busy,
so I'll get right to the point and not waste any more of your time.
I
find the fact that children in the state of Kansas are only being
taught science that is based upon evidence gathered in the natural
world is a bunch of bologna. It is clear now that deductions based
upon repeatable experimentation, observation, and the self-correcting
scientific method, as well as any semblance of academic honesty, are no
longer suitable to be taught to our children.
Where we disagree,
however, is what alternative theory to offer up to these young 'uns,
who are our future. I must confess, that I feel for these poor,
wayward youths because they are not being taught about the only true
way to salvation: the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
Have
you been touched by his Noodles, Connie? Have you answered the call of
his ever-so-Meaty Balls? If the answer is "no" Connie, then he would
like to hear from you. The FSM can save your soul! I used to be all hung up on drugs...now I'm all hung up on the FSM.
In
conclusion, thank you for fighting the good fight for the academic and
spiritual integrity of our children! The next step is deciding which
idea bereft of any scientific evidence whatsoever to feed them. I urge
you to teach them Pastafarianism as science. Nobody has ever died in his name.
